Note that Jill rides Christy without any headgear. An advocate of the John Lyons / Ray Hunt / Pat Parelli / Buck Brannaman philosophies of "natural horsemanship, Annie strives to "get more with less" from her mounts.
Jill and Christy recently took first in an open show. Christy was "Carrying a bridle" in accordance with show rules, however it happened to be hanging from the saddle horn!
